Where Is My Right?

“Many of them don’t even realize they are transgender until much later in life—they are neither a girl nor a boy. Parents don’t even bring it up with their children because of societal pressure. Bullying of transgender kids occurs even in schools. We experience harassment frequently as well. But with whom do you communicate? Your parents believe you are acting foolishly, and the school doesn’t even pay attention to you. Young transgender children are forced to leave their homes by circumstances like these. They occupy a roadside residence. They lack access to education. Do you really believe you will lead a happy life if you don’t have a home, a job, a background, or even a gender that is well-recognized by society? They are only left with options like begging and prostitution. On the other hand, there are a number of transgender children who manage to succeed in school despite experiencing bullying and other forms of abuse as children. Though having an education doesn’t make life any easier. I’ve previously worked for a few businesses. I experienced prejudice and insults in every one of them, which causes traumatic conditions. How long can you endure this in life? The entire community is against you. How can you establish yourself? When a simple life with three meals a day becomes challenging, where are the issues of employment and education? All bills have been put on hold despite numerous discussions, objections, and representations. Depending on who is sitting on it, it could be the Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha, or another authority.

We trans people feel normal, which is the interesting thing. Only other people claim we are abnormal; it is just how we are. The same as everyone else, transgender people want to live happy, respectful, comfortable, and equal lives. Is that asking too much? “

“Being a gardener is a fulfilling job. Like my kids, my plants. Even now, seven months after I started my small-scale gardening company, I get upset when a client takes a plant home. When I say this, people frequently laugh, but there have been times when I’ve shed tears. I’ve been attempting lately to avoid being present when the delivery occurs. In order to ensure the safety of the plant, I also make an effort to stay in touch with my clients. In fact, I replant it for them in the event that they are unable to care for it properly. I take my job very seriously, or maybe it’s because I care so much about my plants!

When I first moved into an apartment, I started experimenting with miniature gardening. Too few pots could fit in the available space. I then began to use pebbles to adorn my balcony instead of trees. I gradually read more about it, and it quickly turned into a pastime. I began giving it to my family and friends once I discovered they enjoyed it. But I didn’t want to turn my passion into a business. However, my sister persuaded me to launch a small business. It has been a success for seven months! I was surprised to learn that Hyderabadis adore the outdoors. I set up a booth in a recent exhibition. Only three of the 60 miniature gardens I made were unsold, though you might not believe me when I say this.

I try to maintain a low profile despite the numerous orders and calls I receive. My hobby of choice is gardening. Additionally, it’s an art form that requires persistence and time. A plant cannot be forced to grow in a specific manner or over a specific period of time. Each plant is carefully examined and then configured as I see fit. I only work with plants in pots. Jade is my favorite stone because it symbolizes positive energy, and isn’t that what we all need in life?”
