You don’t consume the proper foods. Consume food that is a match for your needs.

You don’t consume enough calories. Eat more of the right foods—that’s the idea. Most likely, your first thought is, “Eat more to lose weight.” That might not be accurate, I’m sure. It might seem counterintuitive, but you won’t likely be able to lose weight if you aren’t eating enough of the right foods.

More significant than what you eat is when you eat. In North America, people typically eat five to six small meals throughout the day, whereas on an Ayurvedic diet, you only eat three meals per day, at the same time each day. consuming the biggest meal at noon. The idea here is to match your eating habits to those of nature. At noon, the sun is at its highest point, which is a sign for the body. In America, dinnertime is when we eat the biggest meals. Frequently just before going to bed.

You are consuming the incorrect foods in excess. Sometimes it’s crucial to eat less. You will need to eat less if you have poor digestion or a habit of eating when you are not truly hungry. Depending on your health, Ayurveda says that different food amounts are needed at different times. Weight loss will be more difficult if you are consuming the wrong foods in excess.

Is stress a bigger part of your daily life than you would like to see it? A resounding YES is the answer to this question for many of us! Modern humans experience stress on a fairly regular basis. While some stress is acceptable and even beneficial, we now know that excessive stress can be detrimental to our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. When it comes to managing stress, especially during mealtime, Ayurveda offers a lovely perspective. When eating, stay away from stressful situations. Dine in a serene, lovely setting. If at work, avoid eating at your desk or in the car. Visit a park and relax outside! Use breathing exercises and meditation as well to reduce stress.
